Watching Vanderbilt in the top 10 is kinda like watching Pink Floyd's "The Wall".

It makes more sense when you're high.

No. Just no. I would say that at least 40% or more of adults smoke at least occasionally now. That wasn't the case in the 70s. Hell, if we did mandatory drug testing at work, we would probably lose 75% of our employees.

I wouldn't bet on it. Government agency had me drug test 900 building tradesman and 130 engineers and support staff 7 years ago and I lost 9 employees initially, 7 who had failed to provide prescription drug information who were sent home until doing so and 2 who actually failed the piss test, the other one failed the breathalyzer. This was in Washington State where pot is legal and a BUNCH of that 1000 or so folks most likely partook at least occasionally.

I think gummies are a better way to show respect for your fellow fans.

People who don't like the smell shouldn't be forced to endure it. Most people don't care if you show a modicum of respect.

High school seniors: ~37% reported using marijuana in the past month (late 1970s).

I started high school in 1979 on the west side of Atlanta and I would bet that in Metro Atlanta, or at least Cobb County, from about 1975-1985, about 33% of high school students DIDN'T smoke pot. It certainly wasn't 1 in 3 who did, it was far higher. I didn't know anyone who didn't. It was pretty bad. I'd almost bet that 1 in 3 did blotter acid in that era and at least that many would do ludes and cocaine if we could get the latter. Ludes, acid and pot were omnipresent at every gathering of high school kids in Cobb County Georgia from at least 79-83. It was a bad situation and how more of us did not get killed or go to jail...possession in that era was a pretty big deal...is a mystery.

Agreed. I stopped cigars and now the smell is actually kind of noxious to me. It used to be my favorite smell in the world

I smoke 5 or so cigars a week and they stink to high heaven....but the damn butts, after being put out, stink infinitely worse than the cigar when it is burning. My son and I smoked a cigar on the back porch a few Fridays ago and stubbed them out in an ashtray and when I let the dogs out Sunday morning those butts reeked....and could be smelled across the yard until the sun got up and the temperature rose enough to move the air. Cigar and cigarette butts both stink bad.

Agreed. Honestly If it weren't for the gummies I'd only have bourbon to fuel this final Mark Stoops run and I just can't do hangovers anymore.

I hate the smell of alcohol. Should everybody around me be forced not to drink?

Man, the funny thing is, back in the 90s, kids were dropping acid in class but if you smelled like weed, you would have been expelled.

If your geriatric father doesn’t know the smell of weed, he’s either baiting you or he’s Mr. Rogers

Exactly. I’ve long thought marijuana should be legalized, but their should be nuisance fines for smoking in public due to the smell.

So do you think people who smoke meat should also be fined since Vegans complain about the smell?

Good Lord. You can't smell a beer or cocktail from 20 yards downwind.

Most of you are NOT in Alabama lol Gov wants you to get life for fake shite

I won't live in Alabama because of their stupid laws. I got busted back over 25 years ago and told the state to lick my balls. About 10 years later I got a lawyer and paid $1000 for them to drop the charges because they knew they had no chance to profit off me otherwise.

I can smell someone smoking meat from that far away. How much should that fine be in your opinion?

You come to my area and I'll be smoking meat and smoking weeds. You can pick which one you want to cry about.

How do you endorse this, especially in states where it is legal? A scent gestapo, running around, targeting anything that smells?

I live in a state where it is legal. I never enoyed being really high, but I smoke a bit when I drink, because it does wonders in preventing a hangover. While I don't love the smell, I don't give a damn about it at a concert or festival. People aren't doing this at funerals and graduations.

STFU. They smoke meat in the stadium concession stands.

Why do stoners get so defensive?

But I sure can when drunkie is talking to me or in my vicinity. And you definitely can when it’s 100,000 people doing it. I shouldn’t be forced to smell that should I?
