What a fcking clown…. “Meanwhile” means: at the same time.
The story you referenced is from 2014. So, this clearly didn’t happen around the same time Beard was striking his woman.

Typical Longhorn fan caring more about the optics of the situation than the victim. Does firing Beard benefit the victim or Texas?

Can't answer the question?

Stones and glass houses and all that

No doubt he ends up somewhere in the SEC once it all blows over

Texas had cause to fire Chris Beard. All that is required for such termination is a felony charge (not conviction). In no world is it OK for a man to put his hands on a woman, especially to the extent that was originally claimed and reported to the police after the victim called 911. Even if Chris Beard is exonerated, this is a mess that Texas should not have to deal with (actions "unbecoming to the university" is also grounds for firing with cause).
It's not Texas' duty to help the victim, as that's what the justice system is for. Once everything has been laid out and everyone has their due process, I have absolutely no problem with Texas reaching out and trying to help the victim.
But the victim doesn't really have much to do with whether Texas was going to continue to employ Chris Beard or not. There's no place for that kind of behavior anywhere.
Again - you're making it a little too obvious you're an alter (if your shitty threads didn't already to that)

The State of Texas will pursue the interests of justice in regards to the victim.
The University of Texas looks out of the interest of the University of Texas....as does every university.
Why is this hard for you? Well, you posted this under the wrong account genius.

What exactly should Texas do, in your mind, that states they are more worried about the victim than optics? You're not making any sense.

Inarguably helps her pocketbook, and it's what she wanted--hence her recantation.

So you know the victim? You know her and Chris' relationship? That's literally the only reason she would recant?

I must say: of all the alters, I do appreciate your willingness to stick with the illusion I'm done with this, clown. Have a nice day.
