Not exactly, it's the athletic department. The football program still was revenue positive, the athletic department had to spend a lot more than usual, all the other sports, except basketball, lost money, per the usual.

There is really no reason for any athletic program in this conference to be in the red financially.
Morally and/or spiritually well, that’s so,etching else.
But ain’t none of us poors.
I suppose there are different levels of prosperous though, once you count endowments, emergency funds and all.
UT should never, not ever, lose money thought yet, correct me if I am wrong but has UTk not lost money something like seven of the past ten years or something like that?
