Kinda feel sorry for SEC teams around the board man. You are either Alabama or LSU's bitch. Even though they are two completely different entities, they make a hell of a combo against the rest of the SEC.

Unless Alabama goes on probation again, bad years -- where they lose 5 or 6 games -- will be a rarity. Now, occasionally losing 3 games is more likely than not, but that's not really a bad year.

random observation from outside- you'll find you have a lot of spoiled fans who will bitch and moan that that IS a bad year, and all is doomed. Just my prediction

Bama wont be on top always but if we can sustain a level off competition where we are in the hunt regularly I will be happy
As I am, as an LSU fan. But as I referred to, we have a pretty big and vocal group of fans who legitimately believe Miles should be fired for losing 2 games a season while Bama has their run. If anything, I expect you'll have an even louder group who can't accept less than a natty.

I get no joy out of Tennessee being down. I want the Bama-Tennessee game to have conference and national title implications. I'm very cognizant that Tennessee will not stay down long. There's just too much passion there for success. I'm still wanting too see a rematch in a Bama vs Tennessee SEC Championship game. A Georgia dome half orange half crimson would be incredible.

I do.

Exactly! It is cyclical.

Hiring bad coaches isn't cyclical. Thankfully, you got rid of the problem.

Now, now! There is no need for that. Your sister-wife wanted it, and we were all gentle with it.

You can thank ESPN for Kiffin as well. They pumped his coaching stock big time

You got that right. ESPN hates us anyway.

Chris Fowler swore Game Day would never retgurn to Knoxville after he got scared there once. The producers overruled him.

Dooley was an absolute joke. He honestly thought you could coach a SEC team, and be home at 5:30 every afternoon.

Hiring Sal Sunseri as DC only compounded Dooley's problem.

Mike Hamilton was a huge problem.

We have one more that we need to get out of Knoxville, Chancellor Jimmy Cheek.

A guy that couldn't beat Derek Dooley

But he honestly knew how to beat Butch Jones.

There was quite a disparity in talent on their respective teams.

Kinda like your looks and your women vs the real Brad Pitt's looks and his women.

Please, dont come back with, "my women look as good as Jennifer Aniston or Angelina Jolie." Thanks.

True, jones is a disaster hire. But Tennessee is poor and couldn't afford any coaches worth a shite, thus why they had to settle for number 4 or 5 on their list.

Poor?

You're an absolute freaking idiot. Do some research before spouting off.

You have to consider this: everyone on this board proclaims to be gazillionaires, so compared to the posters on this board, yes, UT is poor.

Bamabird, Do you think TN is going to produce a recruiting class similar to AL 2008? UT will have to sign a top recruiting class by out recruiting top programs such as ua, uga, uf, and lsu in their backyard and that is easier said than done.

In case it hasn't been said--we are on a 6-0 win streak over UT.

That's longer than the one over Mississippi State.

Just to put things in perspective.

Not sure this is relevant to the thread, but really is there ever a bad time to point this out?

I hate UT. Never forget Phil Fulmer, secret agent. So don't be in too big of a hurry to see UT relevant again. I'm in the camp of "I don't give a shite."

They down? Put your foot on their throat. Frig 'em.
