I don't have an issue with Bama or Ole Miss being ahead of SC due to head-to-head matchups. However, I have a huge issue with ONLY Bama being ahead of Miami while SC/Ole Miss are behind Miami. It's pure Bama bias and there's simply no logic from the committee.

Agree - there was no reason to have Miami ahead of 3 teams that were all very close like that.

That was months ago.

Two weeks?

Two weeks ago, UG needed the refs to beat lowly Georgia Tech. Legit, you lost to Georgia Tech. Sad.

Can't say that I blame UG fans for not wanting to play Bama again tho...

I guess you'll be on here Saturday night saying, "Uga's two wins over Tejas shouldn't define that they are better than Tejas."
Of course I won’t, our women have long ago determined that UGA is better

Being a realist about the situation…with ESPN basically running the show it’s hard to imagine a universe without Bama in the playoff. Bama = eyeballs on screens

With that being said, do we deserve it? Probably not it’s been a roller coaster of a year. But if we get hot and Milroe doesn’t kill our chances, we can compete with anyone in the country (not saying flat out beat).

The answer is this. The ACC has to have more than 1 or 2 teams in. If not the AD's of that conference will complain. In this case, Ole Miss and SC suffer.

My question is this. Yes bama has the H2H vs SC. But How decisive of a victory is 2 points at home? That doesn't really define a "better" team. It defines a team that got the breaks on the day of the game. If they played again, there could easily be a different outcome. Not saying it's untrue, I'm just saying it's not THAT telling of a metric.

But I truly believe that Ole Miss has the best argument, as they were punished more for losing to a better UF team than Bama was for losing to a bad Oklahoma squad.

Ole miss dropped 5 spots and Alabama dropped 6 spots. On what planet is that being punished more?
