Yeah I’m not trading one QB who throws multiple interceptions per game and fumbles for another one from Georgia. We are ready to move on to the next QB and see if we can have a consistently functional offense rather than just showing up to play Georgia and LsU.

Smart picked JT Daniels over Stetson. Hell in 2020 Smart picked Dwan Mathis over Stetson.
Hopefully this is a great sign for Gunner, if Smart wanted Beck.

Yeah, Smart sucks as a coach. UGA should fire him.

I don’t like Miami and don’t want them to win the championship, but I will be pulling for Beck to have a great season.
He didn’t pout and leave when he was behind Stetson. He could have transferred then. I don’t blame him at all for leaving now.
A lot of Georgia fans are saying "every time we played bad, it was because Beck wasn't playing well" and they are right. But look at every time Georgia's offense looked good this year.... Beck was slinging it and throwing dimes. The offense was just way more QB reliant than it has been at Georgia in a while.
I feel weird saying that because I said all along going into this year that Beck was very overrated, and now I feel that he is almost underrated? Really good QB, not a great QB. Odds are Stockton won't even be as good as Beck (at least not 2023 Beck), much less better... but we will see.

UGA had no run game and horrible OL play. Not only did the 2024 team not have Bowers, McConkey, and Milton, the top two WRs got into legal trouble, and those remaining couldn't catch the ball.
But, it's Beck's fault.

There were posts in the UGA section here decrying Stetson coming back in 2022 claiming it would hurt WR recruiting.
