wrong answer. If they were still running the Urban Meyer spread they would be alot better.

that's a part time job at best.

I agree with the OP.
Regardless of wins/trophies, Petrino and Meyer commit similar acts (lies/deceit), yet ESPN condemns one and praises the other.
Meh, it's ESPN. We all know they play favorites.

And did Mith-ter Holth leave a note on every player's locker rather than facing them like a man and telling them you were resigning? Was he ditching them to literally (and immediately) take another job while they were still playing?

I've had bosses in the past who were fired/resigned without a word. Their immediate boss would fill or assign someone to fill in until there was a replacement. It didn't bother me. It's business, not a love affair.

We hired him. If he resigned before he had another job in order, does it really make any difference?

They both suck as far as I'm concerned but the one thing Meyer has going for him is he didn't quit mid-season and sneak out of town in the middle of the night.

At the end of the day...right now in the present, everybody thinks Petrino is a POS except Arkansas Fans.
We interact with him all the time.
You're judging him based on one gesture...and some biased ESPN reporting.
We took the trouble to find out what really happened in Atlanta...and the villain was Blank, not Petrino.
You still think the earth is flat.

Oh, no. 4 weeks is practically a millennium. No matter how shitty the situation you have gotten yourself into, a man finishes what he started.

Someone on the experts called him out. Something like "will the get the Meyers who won 2 NCs and did well those three years under tebow, or the Meyers that quit on his team... Twice".

Lol at this guy portraying Urban Meyer as some saint. Urban can be quite the slimy prick in his own right.

The way Petrino left is an abomination. Not even facing your players? Quitting mid season?
Nowhere near similar and Meyer has ALWAYS been thought of as a POS by those outside the UF program, and still got bested by Petrino in the "shitty move" department.

Again, it's not a love affair, and even if it was, whose responsibility is it to move on?
