This is spreading like wildfire, possibly Addazio or Mccarney stepping in as interim for a year or two while he gets healthy and can reclaim role as head coach.

How so? Meyer deserves the opportunity to stay on board if he wants to, and if he needs to take a break for a year to get healthy, the more power to him.

It worked out fine for Duke when Coach K took some time off in the mid-90s.

This could very well be for one year. There is not a school in the country that would tell their 2-time national title winning coach, you can't take a break and we will have a job waiting for you. He has earned it, and while it may not be the best situation for us next year, it is what it is.
