Urban gets a bad rap .He s self absorbed .Yes. But he gets high marks from most of his former players from everywhere hes been . IMO , the best football coach in college football when hes there .( Yes , better than Saban) . I liked Tressel's personality better but as far as a football program, its hard to top what Meyer builds on the field .He made Ohio St into what he turned Florida into .Faster .more athletic team that changed the complexion of the Big Ten

Even after he left FL I enjoyed his rivalry with Saban.

Saban embarrassed him in 09 and 10.

But he got his ultimate revenge by beating Bama with his backup QB that had 0 experience in the 2014 playoffs.

Sad we might not get to see that matchup again.

Agreed, but Mullen was able to adapt when his best option at QB was a prototypical pocket passer, see Tyler Russell in 2012 and Trask now. Maybe you could say the same about Meyer with Haskins in 2018
