He was on the local station today. In title town better known as Gainesville. He was explaining how the spread was almost unstoppable. He said that’s why you’re seeing traditional teams move to it. Basically with the ability of a dual threat quarterback that’s smart you can’t stop it. Utilizing the quarterback you’re evening the players that can make plays. If you don’t use the QB that way then it’s 11 defenders and 10 offenders.
Something like that. You guys and him are way smarter than me. It made sense and explained why defending it was so difficult.
Anyways, I feel he’s a smart coach even given some of his issues.

Why did he try to fit Chris Leak and Joseph Brantley into that offense if he's such a genius? Square peg/round hole if I've ever seen it

Leak was at UF I think before CUM and Brantley was a legacy. Regardless he understands the game as well as anyone.
