I don't like this week for Bama... coming off an emotional win at home... SC is struggling but it's at Willy B... our offense is playing well but the traditional running game has to improve... defense plays well but has a propensity to bust... I think Alabama wins, but I don't think it's comfortable.

#1 Texas (-6.5) - State is much improved in year 2 under Lebby. They have a nice win vs AZ St at home early on. They should have beat UF on the road last week. State vs Tenn went to OT at home. Davis Wade will be too much for Arch and company.
I’d take the points, but the talent gap is large. Texas is elite in 2 of the 3 phases (defense and special teams). They just need to have a serviceable offense against State and they walk out with a W.

Auburn vs Arkansas
Whoever wins, neither would be an upset. This is a "there must be a winner" match up where it seems improbable either team could pull that off.
There is a legit chance Auburn wins this game and still fires their head coach. There is a legit chance Arkansas wins, announces Bobby P is the new permanent HC, and then gets ROFLstomped the rest of the season.
This one of those old "Tuesday Night Fights" shows were, thanks to some early stoppages, we get two turds flailing at each other in what might be the most entertaining fight on the card.

#2 Texas A&M (-2.5) - A&M hasn't won in Baton Rouge since 1994. Night game at LSU may be the toughest environment in all of football. The home team has won 8 in row in this match up. I see nothing to break this trend this year.
I want to agree with this but it is really hard to believe that Brian Kelly can motivate this team right now.
When Les had his back against the wall in 2015, he came out swinging. Granted, still got fired in 2016.
I don't envy A&M. LSU is going to be very hungry for a win and eager to derail A&M's (so far) perfect season.
I just think a lot of us are having trouble believing BK really has that fire within him to get it done.
Regardless, still losing to Bama. Oklahoma game should be interesting.
I think either Ole Miss or A&M are in the playoff, maybe both.
BK keeps his job with 3 losses. 4 or more losses and the seat gets a lot hotter.

Beamer will usually have pretty good ST if he doesn’t have anything else.
Here's a tip, watch them closely when they go into punt formation . . .

LSU has a ridiculous record like 116 - 10 in night games. Saw somebody discussing it today. However, this A&M team has broken all kinds of stigma’s this year. First road win against top 10 team in awhile, first 7-0 start since 1994, etc …
LSU will have their backs against the wall. Will the team play like it?

This reminds be of the 2017 Auburn game. If we somehow win, there is definitely a curse.

It seems counterintuitive but I agree with those who have said the USC game will tell us if DeBoer has really turned the corner.

Wishful thinking. State is on pace to go 1-23 in the SEC.
That lone win will be against Ole Miss. Is that correct?

Don’t know if I would go all the way and put Bama and Ole Miss on upset alert but both games could get really interesting if Bama and Ole Miss doesn’t show up focused and ready to play.
Kiffin going Florida. Why would that game matters now to him?

Look for MSU and Arky to pull the upsets over Tejas and Auburn, respectively

With the number of one score games every week, everybody should be.

State will beat saxet this weekend.
They have lost 3 in a row, 2 were 1-score games.
Whorns will be without starting safety Michael Taaffe.
They are going down.

yeah its not like Bama has a recent history of losing to multiple unranked SEC teams on the road while being a huge betting favorite.
Which SEC teams has Bama lost to on the road this year? I'm drawing a blank on that...
