Great info. So in order:
1) Saban- 80.0%
2) Miles- 66.67%
3) Freeze- 54.16%
4) Sumlin- 50.00%
5) Malzahn- 50.00%
6) Mullen- 33.33%
7) Bielama- 27.77%
So can someone tell me why Bielama gets so much credit? It's not like Petrino left the cupboard bare.

Maybe not in 2012, but after John L. Smith almost every impact player left and there was no one behind them. Bielema had to start two true freshman on the OL and had the worst WR talent to work with in the SEC. Since we didn't have a capable backup QB, Brandon Allen had to play all year with a separated shoulder in 2013.

You're skipping the entire SMILE fiasco. Arky fans would like to forget it as well, but it happened. That disaster combined with Petrino's ride pretty much cost them two recruiting cycles.

You must have missed this little gem. I haven't seen anyone try to say aTm makes the conference look shitty, at least not in the context of the OOC games. Have you?

That's great, but he's 17-15 (53%) in the SEC.
2 games over .500.
Know who else is +2 in SEC play for their careers as a head coach? Will Muschamp (13-11 - 54%) and Gus Malzahn (17-15). That's the company Sumlin's keeping right now.
Will's got a 1st place Eastern division tie and a slightly better conference winning percentage.
Gus has a SEC title and NCG appearance.
Sumlin's got a win over Bama.

Kind of hard to believe only 3 coaches have a winning record within the division. But in no way should Freeze be in the same sentence as Saban and Miles, in this category.

How is that hard to believe? Simple math should tell you that out of 7, half should be below average and half should be above average.
If all 7 had winning records within the division... now THAT would be hard to believe.
