Pretty clearly national champion 1A or 1B with a Northern team (Dartmouth/Notre Dame/Minnesota)

1965

Wait, I thought losing Bowl Games mattered?

#1 Michigan State lost the Rose Bowl to #5 UCLA
#2 Arkansas lost to the Cottom Bowl to UR LSU
#3 Nebraska lost the Orange Bowl to #4 Alabama
#4 Alabama won the Orange Bowl against #4 Nebraska

So losing Bowl Games mattered in 1965 but did not matter in 1964.

Makes sense

WTF does LF have to do with a QB

That is a night and day comparison. We didn’t have a QB and everyone in the stadium knew he was going to run.

Funny how that narrative exits now but absolutely did not exist at the time of the game. Brandon Harris was better! Brandon Harris was someone the defense would have to account for!

Brandon Harris has thrown 9 TDs and 0 INTs! Brandon Harris has completed 63% of his passes, averaged over 200 YPG and thrown 7 TDs and 0 INTs in his last 3 games!

I’m probably gonna get reamed for this but CEH is probably a better back skill set wise against Bama than LF7 was

Some of us are just trying to offer an adequate response on your thread. Can you not handle the responses? Or better yet, are you one of those poor souls that has some type of condition in your limbic cortex that doesn’t allow you to evaluate emotions properly?

I simply linked the updated Vegas odds. If you're so sure the favorite won't win, you are free to bet every single penny you have on another player.

Unless Hurts has a bad game, he is going to win it.

Yeah. I read your earlier comment opining that. Since you are certain of it, you should bet everything you have. You may make some good money. Personally, I doubt a 3rd straight OU quarterback will win it.

I have read some opinions that Tua, Burrow, and the Alabama receivers will all get southeast regional votes, which could effectively preclude any of them from winning. Hurts won't get as many votes because the last 2 OU qbs won and Big 12 defense sucks, so Fields may win basically by default. It's possible. If that happens there will be some irritated UGA fans, and I can understand that.

No guarantees that any of them doesn’t have a bad game. But based on the trend so far, he wins. That is why anyone who bets is a fool.

I'm gonna have to think this one over. Don't want to rush into an answer.
