I don’t think fields is the best player on that team.

Fields and Young being on the same team hurts them both. They split that northern vote

Burrow could play the shittiest game of his career against A&M (Which won’t happen) and he’ll still win the heisman. Fields has a legit shot next year, but burrow is on another level.

It wouldn't be the first time an Ohio State quarterback won the Heisman over a player in the SEC with better stats...or have you forgotten 2006?

I don’t know why Young isn’t double teamed more. Watching that game was a head scratcher.

Not because I think he is better but if Burrow throws a few interceptions over the next few games and Fields goes off the media will be all aboard the Fields train.

Last week I actually agreed with that - just in terms of value.

With Penn State/Michigan/Big 10 I thought he could make a push.

But now I think Young has more value than Fields.

Heck, Ohio State fans seem to be pushing for Young rather than Fields.

Will, do you have the Heisman odds on this day in 2018 for comparison?

Well Young is definitely better than Fields. The problem is he is on defense, which certainly doesn’t help him.

Maybe if he gets like 10 sacks over the next two games.

Let me be clear. I 1000% believe Burrow deserves the Heisman, but the media loves late performances, and they love them some Ohio State.

Therefore I’d be all over +800 for Fields.

So bet it or just shut the frick up and move along already.

Don’t they vote after this weekend?

Technically yes. There is no vote held. Ballots are sent out on Monday the 2nd and they are due back the following Monday the 9th. The vote can be submitted at any time in between.

Are you stupid? Did you not see the game last weekend where fields turned the ball over 3 times. I would say his chances ain’t gonna get any better. They still have Michigan this week.

All I could find so far from last year were the odds as of 11/18/18

Tua: -450
Murray: +500
Grier: +700

Not sure the references to the late season upset last year are even in the same universe at this point.

I know it sounds ridiculous, but remember how Tua was a heavy favorite last year?

This is a bad take. The reason Kyler Murray jumped Tua was because the race was relatively close. Burrow is the overwhelming favorite right now. He would have to have the most miserable games possible the next 2 games to not win this.

Yeah November was the comeback month for Kyler.

I believe Tuna was -1000 but fell bigly after the Mississippi State game.

Fields wasn’t lights out against penn state . Fumbled twice maybe ? (Not sure) just know the media wasn’t pumping him as much this week as last. Your not wrong you never know what voters will do but Burrow has been solid all year . If he plays well against A&M I feel he is a pretty good lock. Murray was coming on super strong this time last year
