Holy crap. I can’t believe it’s already been 12 years since I signed up here. 2011 seems so long ago but it feels like a blink of an eye here.
I guess I kinda go mostly silent after football season.

Ok so I signed up 1/27/2010 but I was lurking for at least two years before that.

I think you should attack this from a different angle. Instead of an OG board, a newbie board where the 2023s are required to post for a full year before posting here.
A kiddie pool, where the alts go to drown.
I have a better idea. No new posters allowed, ever. Any new poster to SEC Rant is, by definition, an alter according to many of the super intelligent on this board.
They can't figure out why any new poster would ever come here and make posts like they did so long ago because, why? Why would anyone ever do that?
Within 8 years, most of the OG's will be dead, the relative newcomers from the last 4 or 5 years will move on, and anyone still around can watch the board slowly gargle its last breath of air as it drowns on its own fetid fumes.
Great business plan. Don't ever try to grow the board because it may offend the old, cranky, stuffy, cantankerous, group of embedded losers here who feel their participation on SEC Rant matters to someone on Planet Earth.
[Sarcasm Off] New posters should be the most celebrated and honored posters on the board and should be begged and pleaded with to not leave. This place needs some new ideas, new thoughts, new memes, etc... Even our memes are fricking old and worn out.
Merry Christmas!

I understand what you're saying, I really do. I just wish the new posters didn't arrive already knowing all of the old memes, how to post them and who to direct them to.

Are all of these folks still around?

You seem to have gotten enough interest to form a split off site. But Chicken might sue, especially if you infringe on his media rights and cut into his LSU merch sales
