They really wanted the SEC champion to be left out of the CFP. And then what happened? The SECCG runner up beat F$U by SIXTY frickING POINTS. Yeah, the Noles totally belonged in the CFP.

Georgia got screwed just as bad as FSU, they went all year ranked no. 1 and no. 1 in the playoff rankings, lose to NICK SABAN ALABAMA BY ONLY 3 and get completely kicked out. Committee was damned if they did, damned if they didn't, but head to head should matter so if FSU got in at 3, Texas should rightfully be in over Bama at 4 but the Travis injury gave the committee some wiggle room to get the SEC champ in.
