I agree BigEd... ESPN did a great job with the whole Bases Loaded concept... I think we're just a few years away from DirecTv getting on board with a package that will give viewers access to all Regional and Super Regional games... As much as I hate ESPN and what it has become they are finally giving college baseball the coverage it deserves.

They're starting the process, it's not there yet. But the Bases Loaded channel was great.
I didn't hear the announcers on any of the games though, so I don't know how knowledgable those guys were. I thought they did a great job on conf tourney weekend with KP in the booth for the SEC games and Ben McDonald on the studio show. They're both really good, though KP is a little more polished than McDonald.
I'm thinking that the CBB coverage is going to start expanding a little more each year going forward. And not just on ESPN. With all these new competitors popping up, they need to get content from somewhere.

Probably a dumb question, but can I access the bases loaded channel on ESPN3? If so...where is it? Or does it not pop up until more games are going.

Yea it's on ESPN3, should be under the baseball category. Doesn't start till 1PM CT however.

Oczypok is a likeable player with the walk-on story. Looks like he only made 3 appearances in SEC play before he had that great outing in Hoover. He's a good choice as a new guy to trust to get Bama to Sunday with some competitive starters. I know they didn't go down there to not get a shot against FSU.
