South Carolina deserves a spot vs a team that's going to get steamrolled in their first playoff game.

This is what everyone wanted. BCS wasn’t good enough, four teams weren’t good enough, now 12 teams isn’t good enough and we haven’t even played a game. We’ve got networks arguing over putting a 3 loss Bama team in over another because Bama.

20 years from now after they’ve expanded to a full 64 team playoff, all the championship games are gone and there is no bowl game schedule, people will long for the days when college football had the uniqueness that every game mattered and players looked forward to a bowl game where they got to play an opponent they normally wouldn’t.

SC has reeled off 6 straight wins, and just closed with a win over Clemson on the road.

This is what I am talkin aboot.

So why even play any games for the first half of the year?

They’re gonna get their arse beat in the playoff anyway, I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Bama's road blowout of a good LSU team was impressive enough to cancel out a couple of bad losses

Alabama should not be in the conversation when talking about the CFP. They are not playing in the SEC championship game and any team with 3 losses should not be considered.

Let me guess...you're one of those clowns who argued for expanding the playoffs. Bama fans always said that no more than 2 or 3 teams in any given year deserved a shot at the national championship.

All the non-Bama fans here wanted this stupid expansion for years. So don't be bitches about it now. We told you so.

And here is your answer.

A spokesperson for ESPN BET said Alabama attracted more money from bettors than the other teams combined on Monday, with 92% of the action on the Crimson Tide to make the playoff.

It's not about actual chance's, it's about Vegas taking people money.

In a three way between Bama, Ole Miss, and SC, I actually buy the Ole Miss argument. They definitely seem to have been tossed aside however. If it's then a two way race.....gotta honor head to head.

End of the day, we all know the SEC/Big 10 have some sort of 4 bid backroom deal.

I agree even though it hurts. No 3 loss team should sniff the playoff.

If they want to pretend that all conferences and schedules are worthy, then let them.

I’m just happy we had a decent season that was fun to watch.

The committee wants brands. Always has. Bring back the BCS formula.
