the OL this Saturday could well be Dworaczyk (LT), Collins (LG), Elliot Porter (C), Trai Turner (RG), Vadal Alexander (RT).

4 starters out

so what's the kill count? 5-6 starters out since the beginning of the season?

8 or 9

Let's count:
1. Mathieu (DB) suspension
2. Faulk (OT) out for season
3. Blue (RB) out for ....
4. Jones (LB) academics - season
5. Alexander (LB) started the last couple games - out for season
6. Wiliford (OG) out for ....
7. Lonergan (C) out for ....
8. Hurst (OT) ?maybe out for ....

Add in a couple injuries to backups and a couple casualties to academics and LSU doesn't have the full 85.

That was not fun.

We have 1 starter left on offense from last year, 5 on defense.

Wonder where we would have been ranked to start the season if we were bring back 6 of 22 starters from last year.

Technically Ware/Ford/Hilliard were all "starters", and OBJ/Shep started with Randle last year, didn't they?

OBJ did, Shep not really

Ware/Ford might have started 2-3 games each in the early goings before Blue/Hilliard took over near the end of the season.

I don't want to bring any evil on you guys, but I'm almost waiting to hear a report that Mett has the flu too, or something like that. Y'all have been dropping a lot of people.

Hurst would likely be matched up with South Carolina defensive end Javedon Clowney, reagrded as one of the top defensive players in the nation and second in the SEC with 6.5 sacks.

I think the coaches lost count.

Are they still yammering on TR about why we're not airing it out, Mett not progressing through 3 reads, etc? I can't hardly stand to go over there anymore.

Other rumors going around, but he most likely won't play Saturday.

Damn.I have a feeling Mr Hurst felt the intense heat from coaches towards their charges for the non performance last saturday.

Clowney and co. just got pure wood. But I think its a mistake to put such an intense spotlight on one group of players and it could cause locker room problems which aint going to help the cause. This should be a time of team unity and circle the wagons kinda thing....just mho.

I've stopped being surprised by any of the player losses. Our 85 man roster pre-fall camp is at about 68 right now, for various reasons. It's been starters, back ups, everyone. At LB we had Tahj Jones have an academic issue, his replacement Luke Muncie comes down with a virus, and while Kwon Alexander is playing in place of Muncie he breaks his ankle.
