Just like UCLA and USC in the PAC?

You have a point. However, tradition doesn't mean much out there on the west coast. That's why it's so easy to dismember the PAC.

I’m still really confused about why everyone things the SEC will be looking to immediately add more teams. Everything we’re seeing right now is a response to us adding OU & Texas.

It's hypothetical

But IF ND does join B10 and then Oregon and UW join as well it forces sec hand to make a move.

I don't think ND wants to join the Big10. It does nothing for their recruiting. They would just be another academic school in the frigid midwest along w/ Mich and NWestern and IU. They also don't want to join the SEC either though. No one from the ACC is leaving any time soon but when they do Clemson and FSU are probably the next two added. We could take Okla State and Baylor now though. Doesn't seem like much of an add.

Teams like NC State, Va Tech, West Va mean zero to tv networks who will decide which teams they want to pay for. UNC is the prize. Fla State and Miami just ain't what they used to be. If you get UNC maybe Duke trails along, or Virginia, who I think is more likely to prefer the Big 10. I suspect the SEC, if we do not get UNC, would settle for Clemson and maybe Fla St and/ or Miami, but as someone said, we might look west too, Kansas or Okie State.

Oklahoma State would fit very nicely in the SEC. Honestly, revenue be damned, I would have preferred them over Texas. Texas will be the gift that keeps on giving. When they leave the SEC, nobody will be sorry to see them go.

I want UNC, Duke, Virginia, and Kansas. We would then be the dominant basketball conference too.
