It is what it is maybe in a year or 2 we'll see a plus one but doubtful. If the shoe was on the other foot it wouldn't matter to me who or where we played as long as my team came ready and played to our standard but it's just how it works out look at it like this there's a BIG gap between 1,2 and everybody else.By the way pulling for LSU to win tomorrow and atleast I don't have to pull for the barners to win for some help cuz I'm not sure that I could.

The BCS was created to match the top two ranked teams against each other for the National Championship. It just so happens that the SEC West has the top three teams right now, and as of today, LSU and Bama are the top two teams in the country.
I, like Les, would enjoy the opportunity to play Bama again.

we all need to enjoy this as cfb is so cyclical. we may be seeing, with this rematch, the peak of sec football. if nothing else (if it happens), it will be historical.

bama is probably the second best team, but do we know that for sure? Why is this accepted as gospel? The sec is down this year. I know gumps are proud they only lost to lsu, but where are the impressive wins? Ark hasnt beaten anyone either. OkieSt, if it beats OK, will have a better resume than bama and a conf champion.

I really don't care who we play I just want to get there. I really don't want to go through a month and a half ranting with BAMA but if that is what happens will embrace the challenge.

I don't see how you could give Bama the title even if they beat LSU. Would that be more impressive than them beating Bama on their home field? Then you throw in the wins over Oregon and WV. And that is why I don't want to see that game happen.
I think Bama had their shot. I don't see how you could put them in ahead of other one loss conference champs. If you do you say the games in the season are meaningless and that is the main argument you use to justify the system itself.

Sure home-field matters most of the time, but when teams rely on great defensive play go on the road.
It's not such a huge issue compared to teams that rely on their offensive play so much.
Both Bama & LSU have had great defensive play throughout their history.
It's why the home-field wins & loses aren't normal in this series.

Screw sharing a title! If you win the championship game you are the champion. No matter if it's LSU or Bama.
