Of course not, it's been a forgone conclusion since early October. I'm surprised it even took til Tuesday to start leaking out, not sure where everybody was yesterday

Sorry, no Sumlin to Bama because he is black. Alabama is a racist state and there is no way that would happen.

The only part that surprises me a bit is that he is so close to the school record. I believe he is 13 wins away.

If that number was 9 or less I think he gets another year, but I don't think the fanbase could survive another 2 years to break the record.

When reached by text moments ago, Brown refuted the story to Horns247.

"I haven't seen (the) article," Brown wrote.

"I'm in Florida recruiting. If I had decided to step down I sure wouldn't be killing myself down here. I have not decided to step down."

Or he is looking for a new vacation home because he will have so much free time next year?

Nope none at all, except for all of East Texas where TAMU is...

Pretty sure Mack needed one more year to break darryl Royal's record of most wins by a Texas coach.

Oh well.

No racism involved. Drug deal gone wrong. All parties involved had served jail time together. Something happened during a "deal" and he was promptly killed for it. Well, maybe a little racial difference but initially a drug deal.

Jasper is damn near in Louisiana and culturally is more Cajun than Texan, over 150 miles from College Station. Almost closer to LSU than it is A&M for that matter. Vidor is out there as well and just as bad.

A&M has one of the best race records of any school in the SEC, the only "negative" is we don't have a lot of AA's as students but Texas is only 12% AA.

You don't spend much time at Northgate do you? Oh, you mean black students.

Yeah Jasper and College Station are right next to each other. Only 3 hours apart. Practically twin cities!

Let's say money is equal. Which town would you rather live in, Tuscaloosa or Austin?
Where would your wife rather live?
