A reason and an excuse are often the same thing, but luck matters, and we haven't had it on our side.

Georgia does seem to have a lot of bad luck. They always lose a game somewhere along the way they have no business losing. Probably were the best team in the country in late 2007 but shite the bed against a Tennessee team that had no chance in SEC title game.

Georgia is the Clemson of the SEC. They get way too pumped after a big win and choke. Until Richt learns to humble a team and humble himself after big wins and also how to win the games he is supposed to then he will not win a national title.

Clemson has the longest win streak against unranked teams in the country. Clemson has had 4 straight 10 plus win seasons and finished higher each season than the preseason ranking.

Who has Clemson choked to in the past 4 years? Every team Clemson lost to has been a good team.

They choked against FSU last year.

And they call it Clemsoning for a reason.

Clemson held FSU, who made the playoffs, to negative rushing yards at home.

it was a tough loss but not a choke. Clemson wasn't favored to win the game and it was 2nd game of the season, on the road with two new QBs.

i'll take 4 10 plus win seasons in a row with bowl wins over LSU, Ohio State, and Oklahoma, if that is choking and 'Clemsoning'.

lol
the teams that beat Clem the past 4 years were better in certain units.

UGA and Clemson have been in the similar in terms the offense has been better than the defense although that ended last year for Clemson when we had best defense in nation.

UGA 2002 lost to a weak UF just like LSU 2003 did.
UGA 2007 lost 2 games to weaker teams just like LSU 2007 did.

What was the difference? LUCK.

It was great when we scored 21 points on 3 straight running plays in the 4th Q.

several starters suspended on defense though.

game had more to do with stoudt missing plays and offense not putting any drives together.

clem would have killed uga later in the season

No, we would have killed your QB after our D got acclimated to the new system, would have ran all over yall with Gurley and Chubb, and our improved QB would have efficiently finished you off.

ga lost to GTECH, fsu, and sc last year.

Clemson crushed SC worse than any team in Sec last year.

fl was a 1-d running team and still dominated.

keep in mind that GTECH team lost to duke. lol uga lost to a team that got beat by duke.

if the game had been in Clemson it would have been a rout by Clemson b/c that qb was mediocre at best.

I like how UGA and Clempson were compared then he UGA and Clempson fans post one after another about how great their programs are!

You couldn't make this up!

you infer things, I never said anything about 'how great' Clemson is.

I only challenged the Clemsoning meme because facts don't support it. choke means you lose to teams that you are better than, or your blow a big lead in a game and lose. neither of those scenarios describes Clemson the past 4-5 years. Clemson has won like 28 in a row over unranked teams.

games Clemson has lost past 4-5 years typically involved a lot of bad turnovers, and not being able to handle the pass rush one or two years.

Both are top 15 programs, so I fail to see the humor.

Our D, QB, and Chubb were better in the 2nd half of the season than when we destroyed yall in game #1. Later in the year, it took a strong run game to beat UGA, and Clemson didnt have it. Watson may have lost a leg if he had to face our pass rushers late in the year.

you don't watch Clemson at all, ran all over SC.

Gallman is a beast.

your secondary was beatable last year, reason Stoudt ended up being benched for Watson is he missed some wide open WRs in that game.

that was a tight game until a few big plays by the uga running backs in the 4th. to act like you dominated the game is silly. lol

45-21 is a dominating score, even if the first 50 minutes were close. Yall simply got worn down despite our many deficiencies.

Watson was getting crushed by us in game #1, and it would have been much worse later in the year.

SC was beaten down and broken by the end of the year. I wish we could have played them at that time as well.
