Can't wait until the time, and it will come, when players sit out the playoffs. Playoff games have the same risk of injury and they're still not getting paid to play in them. College football is going down a slippery slope and it doesn't bode well for us that couldn't care less about the NFL.
However, I do enjoy the pivots some fans on this board make when one of their own decides to sit out as opposed to discussing a player on another team.

How awesome our Oline is has been accrued over the last 3 seasons they've all been playing here. I like that you think they suck though.

I don't blame any projected 1st rounder from skipping a meaningless Bowl game. Then again many will play in the Senior Bowl and they could get hurt there as well. It's not your Father's college football anymore due to the salaries of the NFL.
