Listen, I hate UGA, but their defense is legit. They're giving up something like less than 75 yd a game rushing. Joe Burrow is going to have to beat them through the air because they are not going to be able to run the ball at all. I think this matchup actually is favorable to UGA more so than any other LSU opponent.

AU out Gaines UGA. Had more TOP and more 1st downs.
Unfortunately, AU is coached by Gus.
UGA is lucky.
They had 159 yards and UGA had a 21 point lead entering the 4th.

I don't. I don't think UGA has better DB's than Bama or UF.
The thing with LSU's offense is when they force you to drop 6-7 in coverage, that is when the running lanes open up for our offense. Joe has some wheels as well.

Fromm hasn't played his best, but he's still a top 10 QB in the country.
The UGA D is absolutely stifling. They're probably better than OSU and Clemson even though they're getting less help from the offense and playing against stiffer competition.
UGA will be able to move the ball against LSU. People are going to realize exactly what kind of D Georgia brings to the table.
I love that people are doubting UGA. It's coming time for this squad to make folks into believers.

I personally do not doubt UGA's D. It is their average offense I doubt.
UGA will for sure slow LSU down, but it is not like LSU is facing Tua again here.

Do you think UGA's DB's are graded higher than Bama's?
ALso, the NFL mocks have Bama and UF DB's higher, but don't act like saying Bama and UF have better DB's is outlandish.....

That said..Georgia has not played a LSU type passing offense like Alabama has, so it probably is fair to say their pass defense is as good if not better than ours so far this year.

YPG is a misleading stat. UGA giving up less YPA and has a better passer rating allowed than Bama and UF. Bama has been pretty damn pedestrian vs decent opponents. Allowing almost 8 YPA vs winning teams (horrible, average in the SEC. but UF was worse).
LSU actually outperformed their averages vs. Bama.
Stats only tell half the story.
