Exactly this game hinges on just how well our offense performs against their defense. Our defense is certainly good enough to get some stops but it can't do it all against an elite offense like LSU

Despite that LSU only scored 2 more points. So UGA is either more efficient at turning yards into points or LSU struggles at turning yards into points.
Ahh, yes. One game says that Georgia’s offense is more efficient then the top scoring offense in the nation. How could I be so blinded. It’s clear to me now; Georgia’s offense > LSU’s offense.
We’re screwed.

Reasonable take, but I think our defense really step up in a big game in Atlanta, at least enough to let our offense win the game by scoring around 35-40 points. I don't see our offense getting stopped by anyone though, we just have too many weapons. UGA has a great defense, but they haven't had to defend players 5 or 6 elite offensive weapons like this in space.

That sort of depends. In your dream, is the final score like 31-28 or something like say 36-16?
Well since we’re talking about previous years maybe
44-41
Or
52-38
Or
34-14
Or
45-16

LSU scores 23 on Auburn, amazing. UGA scores 21 on auburn, completely inept.
So we're only focusing on 1 game out of 11?
Why didn't you mention LSU scoring:
55
45
65
66
42
42
36
23
46
58
56
Why didn't you mention UGA scoring:
30
63
55
23
43
17 - South Carolina lol
21
24
27
21
19
LSU's lowest point total of the season would rank as UGAs 7th highest total of the season. LSU averages 17 more points per game than Georgia. So they average more by an entire UGA output vs South Carolina

Big game experience is going to play a role in the outcome of this game. The annual Bama game is about the only thing LSU players have to relate to in regards to the atmosphere and speed of big games. Meanwhile, UGA is stacked with players, including the QB, who have been to 3 straight SECCG and a Natty game. That matters. The experienced team is less likely to make stupid mistakes/turnovers.

Lol. Imagine your best hope of winning being "I really hope they make mistakes!"

Really? I don't think he has been good at any point this season.

Far from my "best hope". I'm just saying that experience is completely absent from most LSU fans' evaluation of this match-up. It matters.

A true freshman came into the second half of the NCG and beat you. Won the game on a TD pass to another true freshman.
A true freshman whooped bama's arse last year.
You're getting very desperate here. tFear is real.

quote:That's fair. If we can't comfortably rush the ball, I think LSU can shut our offense down. I will say, 35-40 points is a huge number with our defense, unless your defense can force some three and out which if our OL and Swift have lackluster games could certainly happen.

quote:Yep lots of weapons to stop. We won't stop your offense from scoring, what we have to do is limit Burrow's touches with extending our possessions and force him to drive the field. Can't have turnovers or allow big plays.

That worked for Florida.

good thing is our defense has only given up more than 14 twice all season, 17 to ND and UF.
Yea you should be solid with that as long as you dont give up any points on offen.....hm.
