The Athen street racing scene has killed more people than all my AR15s combined. And there are dozens of organizations trying to outlaw my AR15s.

Has UGA lost control, or are UGA players just too stupid/dangerous to own vehicles?

With NIL, UGA players own vehicles with 400-700 horsepower.

If you give a kid money, this is what you get.

Who here hasn't had a moving violation?
Did you have 400-700 horsepower at the time?

Herschel Walker got a brand new trans am for going to UGA, I know the guy who got it for him

Bama players have been rolling around in Challengers and Chargers for years.

Players with souped up cars isn't a new thing at all.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department released this statement about the arrest: “On May 23, 2023, at approximately 3:18PM, an officer was conducting speed detection in the 2600 block of Atlanta Highway when the officer noticed a black Dodge Charger traveling eastbound on Atlanta Highway at a high rate of speed. The officer estimated the vehicle to be going 90 miles per hour and confirmed such with a speed detection lidar. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint, was arrested for speeding and reckless driving.”

I believe the Speed Limit is 45 there. He doubled that.

There are thirty 18-19 year olds jumping onto campus every offseason.
I promise you there is a percentage of those kids with the wheels doing stupid stuff behind it over their 3+ year run in college.

And yet it keeps happening at one particular school and has already resulted in a tragedy.

The tragedy was a dui. And that wasn't one of the kids. She was 25, I think.

If I wanted to extend my analogy, though... give a 21 year old money and where do you think he celebrates? At the vip room in the club and finishes the night at waffle house.

This is why the NFL requires players 3 years out of high school. "New money" behavior from kids just out of high school is not a "protect the brand" move.

They were drag racing drunk

Still doesn't answer why it keeps happening at UGA in particular. I would say I expected more from you, but I don't.

They didn't kick out a WR for kidnapping so I doubt they boot this guy off the team.

To clarify, Carter wasn’t drunk. Yes, he was being an absolute moron but the cops at the scene indicated he didn’t exhibit any signs of intoxication.

How do you define drag racing?

I'd like to hear this response.
