How many LSU OOC opponents have won a BCS bowl or NY6 in the last decade?

GT has. They've played in the Orange Bowl twice in the last 15 years as well as winning one in the last 10.

Only 1 p5 OOC game is pretty weak, which is the norm for most programs. Its abnormal for UGA.

Florida State won the BCS national championship in 2013
Texas beat Georgia in the 2018 Sugar Bowl
Miami played in the Orange Bowl in 2017, but lost
We played Wisconsin twice, and they won a Cotton, Orange, and lost a Rose
TCU won a Fiesta and a Peach

That's just going back 10 years.

But hey, Georgia Tech has made it to 4 bowl games in that time, and what, won almost half it's games in the last 10 seasons?

But what about your 2nd p5 OOC game in each season? You are comparing our 2nd tier p5 OOC game to your 1st tier.

10 years, huh?

You got to play Tennessee. We had Alabama.

We are talking about OOC games per OP.

Not as weak as refusing to play real OOC home and homes. But it fits the UGA regional brand mentality.

Bring something new to the table or move on.

Hasn’t happened yet and both schools likely going to see their schedules altered.

Besides, it’s not new because our 2022 explosive offense already owns that city, and our 4th stringers got into that game too. All of your Narratives were killed that day.

Maybe we should go back to:

Arizona
Colorado
notre dame
Oklahoma
Or try Florida state?

Ok. UGA is happy being a regional brand, duly noted. At least embrace it and stop pretending it’s something more than that.

Because we struggle to recruit nationally, amiright?

I do not fake fun of GaTech,

You didn't say this?
And let’s be honest Memphis is a better program than GaTech the last 20 years or so.

Then low and behold we find out that GT has more wins than Tennessee in the last 20 years. So, I am guessing Memphis is a better program than Tennessee the last 20 years.

A UGA poster framed and redefined the case without knowing what they were talking about. Take your concerns to them.

And yet you were answering a post to RD Dawg when you said it,so....

But to believe they are equal to or God forbid ahead to Tennessee is a gross mistake.

And yet they have been better than Tennessee over the last 20 years. Imagine.

Regional brand mentality.

That’s not making fun of GaTech, that’s reality. Huge difference.

The UGA group think makes y’all pretty interchangeable.

quote:

But they haven’t. They played an incredibly weak ACC schedule and still couldn’t do anything. 5-7 last year 3-9 the year before.
2020 3-7
2019 3-9
2018 7-5
2017 5-6
2016 8-4
2015 3-9
2014 10-3
2013 7-5
4 winning regular seasons in 20 years,
10-2
7-5
3-7 Covid
7-5
5-7
4-8 worst year every in Vols football
8-4
8-4
6-6
5-7
Vols had the same number of losing seasons as GaTech had non losing seasons.

Easier schedule with worse results.

Spoon feeding this stuff the the hive is tiresome.

Guess you forgot our only good O player, IYO, is Napa Cali native Brock Bowers.

He was on the bench in the 4th Q of the National title win in Cali for some reason. Maybe he wasnt good enough to play a full game? Thats your logic.

Tech has the same amount of top 10 seasons as the Vols do in the past 20 years.

Yall have been peers, and your head to head game illustrated that well, just as the overall wins do.

Which word did you not understand in regional mentality? I’m genuinely curious at this point. Is the concept too big for you? Too many syllables? I can try to dumb it down I guess.

Yes UGA winning and paying players mean they will get the odd good non regional players. It doesn’t change the regional mentality.

we are 40 days from the new season and in 5 months you haven’t added anything new to the discussion of 2022(nor has the rest of the mind hive) so it’s time to move on. I posted days ago that it was time to move forward (because it’s been done to death with nothing new).

Lets talk about reality rather than your imaginary "regional mentality".

California is in a region:

Thats where UGA won the Rose Bowl in 2017.
Thats where UGA won the National title in 2022.
Thats where UGA is scheduled to play UCLA in 2025.
Thats where Brock Bowers is from.

Darnell Washington is from the same region, and picked UGA over the cheating Vols.

If thats not good enough, maybe we should go back to:

Arizona
Colorado
Notre dame
Oklahoma

But you dont want to talk about those. Your narratives cant hold up to the smallest amount of scrutiny from even ONE UGA fan, much less a whole group of UGA fans.

This was new, and you ran from it with quickness, AGAIN:

quote:

Jacksaint + Kenny + Darnell + Brock + Ladd catches:

1-3q = 202 catches
4th q = 19 catches

What happened to all that production? Thats 2 more of your illogical narratives destroyed instantly.

anything. 5-7 last year 3-9 the year before. 2020 3-7 2019 3-9 2018 7-5 2017 5-6 2016 8-4 2015 3-9 2014 10-3 2013 7-5 4 winning regular seasons in 20 years,

You only showed 10 years..

Here are the facts for GT and Vols last 20 years:

GT:
7 losing seasons
Two 11 win seasons
Five seasons of greater than 9 wins
2 BCS level bowl appearance (2x Orange), 1 win
129 wins 112 losses
1 Conference title, 4 Division titles

UT
9 losing seasons
One 11 win season
Seven seasons of greater than 9 wins
1 BCS level Bowl (Orange)
129 wins, 108 losses
0 conference titles, 3 division titles

And I didn’t penalize UT for the “vacated wins” they are included in the above.

Not a gnats hair of difference in these two programs last 20 years.

4 whole OOC games? ND was 2017, Colorado was 2010, OKST was 2009, ASU was 2008

Yeah. In 15 years, we had 5 home and home series. That is 10 seasons of home and homes in 15 years ON TOP of the home and home with Georgia Tech every year.

What are you expecting? We just do away games over the 15 years without the return home game?

What kind of idiot complains about having 10 years of scheduling booked out of 15 seasons in home and away games on top of another 15 years overlapping of scheduling another home and away series?

Oh yeah. You.

Geeesh! Then what was I doing sitting in the stands with a huge number of UGA fans at ND, Colorado, Okla St, Charlotte(for Clemson), etc? And I was planning on going to Okla until the SEC canceled that game. You need to get your facts right.
And as far as traveling to other non conference schools. Georgia is a national power. And an SEC program. Other schools should travel to them. Some coach - maybe it was Bryant, I can’t remember - once said that the emperor doesn’t make road trips. Sounds like a reasonable idea to me. If out of conference schools want to play the Georgias, LSUs and Bamas then they should pack THEIR bags and get on a plane.

They played Oklahoma St and Arizona St in the same season when both were good.
