Remember the Justin Fields, Jake Fromm, Jacob Eason debacle. Kirby can buy them but can’t manage them.

You know it’s bad for auburn when their biggest fan has to go back to 2018.

Mark Richt's UGA had issues but the least of them was talent.

So what do you think his issues were, actually coaching players?

UGA does NOT pay recruits big through NIL

They're guys who got the NIL money through performance, not as an inducement to come to UGA

As its an NCAA violation to induce recruits thru NIL, it wouldn't be public knowledge if you were using it as a recruiting tool.

That said, UGA is using NIL as a recruiting tool. As is LSU and the rest of the SEC, and every other P5 school.

All the cheating Kirby has done can’t buy all of them playing time. Only so many allowed on the field at once. Remember the Justin Fields, Jake Fromm, Jacob Eason debacle. Kirby can buy them but can’t manage them. Kirby = Snake oil salesman.

Kirby has as many NCs on two years as AU has in its entire history. No one manages a roster better than Kirby.

The biggest disadvantage Richt had was his university President and AD expecting him to be a top program while playing within a set of rules that made it impossible to fully compete with programs that were skipping happily way over the line. Everyone remembers the heartbreaking loss in the SEC CG in 2012. Most people don't remember UGA played that game with scholarship numbers in the low 60s at best. The University literally penalized itself more than the NCAA ever would.

AD is a player. If he stays healthy he should do good things at Texas

Why are they leaving? I thought Kirby was a players coach! I feel sorry for them about the accident that killed their lineman and injured 7 other people.

They’ve won back to back national championships. The ship must be sinking with Kirby to be letting 4* walk.

Why are 4* leaving LSU?

You've got some flawless reasoning, there my man!

There are many players from every team hitting the portal. I wasn't piling on Georgia, only stating that there was another player not listed. Posters on this site tend to list exiting players as evidence that the program is in disarray; however, most all player's reasoning for hitting the portal is due to better playing opportunities at another school. All of the players you listed from Texas that hit the portal have been passed up on the depth chart and are seeking opportunities for more playing time at other universities. I suspect AD Mitchell transferred to Texas because he wanted to be closer to home, not because he had a problem with UGA. It happens.

Im sure money played absolutely positively zero factor here, right? And I'm sure texas had never communicated with him prior to him officially entering the portal, right?
