When a coach spends one weekend telling you he’ll coach you at one school, then goes to the other school the next weekend, that comes off as dishonest and disloyal.

I think that is what Jadon Haselwood said about Chaney.

Pretty sure his family is currently in Athens with his new coach.

And what's his new coach telling him now? "I was recruiting you last week to come to DBU but now I want you to come to a school that hasn't won it all since 1980"...nice recruiting pitch, good luck with that.

Power move by Kirby. Hope Mullen has a replacement in mind since he didn’t want to pay him.

You can have Corey Raymond if you make him head coach and let him commute every day from Baton Rouge.

I didn't ever love Chaney, but listening to too much of Haselwood's griping about UGA is counterproductive. There is something to note about how his perception of UGA has soured, and making sure that's preemptively addressed with every new recruit is a good idea, but his bitching about specific coaches is just this kid running off at the mouth.

I have nothing against the kid. He's young, a bit naive, incredibly talented, and quite outspoken (which tend to go hand in hand). That's not the profile of someone whose every word we should be hanging on.

Can someone post Mullen’s goofy pic trying to dance with Elam again?

To hear Straws tell it, we got a great DB coach because they held us to 36 with their top 3 DBs out.

It's kind of bizarre when I'm not involved in a thread but you guys have this weird fascination to mention me when I can barely remember who any of you are.

You'll be shocked to know that our defensive back success started well before Warren came to Florida.

Yeah, you're going to be surprised to know this but even though it's an ex-Gators coach he's still a piece of shite for doing it.

Where did Haselwood end up, anyway?

Only when it's their coaching hire.

If we're being completely honest:

Who knows whether or not this one was good? At Florida, we've been blessed with some outstanding DBs before Warren arrived, and while he was here I'd have to say our weakest unit as a whole was DBs (on defense obviously).

We lost our #1 Cornerback the second play of the second game of the season and were thin at the position, which weren't his fault.

The DB position pretty much always looks the same at Florida, regardless of who is actually coaching here. He's not elite, but I don't think he's that bad either. A good band-aid.

What was he saying a few weeks ago? If you're being objective, he either recruited against Georgia the entire time until now (and will look shady) or he's been recruiting Elam to Georgia while employed at Florida.

Better hope he stays a while.

Uf had a much better pass d than rush d.

Due to our pass rush. Our safeties and cornerbacks were consistently out of position.

Did you watch the Georgia game?

Maybe the Missouri game?

Any time we went up against a team that had an accurate passer we got absolutely murdered through the air.

Our rush D was pretty much fixed our best players came back on the team for the front 7. However, defensive backs was a struggle. Again, it's not Warren's fault (being honest) because we were incredibly thin at the position.

Luckily for Warren, UGA is stacked with DBs from Florida

That’s on Grantham and not the DB coach.
