Not sure if this is a good thing given we carved their asses up the last 2 years.

To hear Straws tell it, we got a great DB coach because they held us to 36 with their top 3 DBs out.

So, Elam is down to two schools: UGA and UF. His lead recruiter at one of the schools leaves to the other. Florida still may get him, but the hire definitely enhances UGA's chances

When a coach spends one weekend telling you he’ll coach you at one school, then goes to the other school the next weekend, that comes off as dishonest and disloyal.
His reaction could go either way. I’m sure it will help UGA. Don’t know if it’s enough. We’ll see.

Going back to Air Force his resume is pretty solid, only time will tell if it's a good hire. I personally like it, he's from Atlanta so he's coming home.

Yep, that one who had his group finish first in the SEC in passing yards allowed. From Atlanta and can croot.

Anyway, good hire by UGA considering Warren's been solid for us. And Elam being on campus when it's announced certainly helps with his recruitment.
