Job with a ton of potential. Was just announced earlier this week that new expansion and development center will be complete by start of 2025 season

The lack of success in baseball is almost as puzzling the basketball, given that both sports have a huge talent base in the state.

I wonder what happened after that 2019 season.

UGA should go get Cliff Godwin.

Unrelated, but I think UGA’s baseball stadium is beautiful. The pine trees behind the fence are top notch.

And GA state schools have a huge advantage with HOPE so it's easier to distribute the 11.7 scholarships for baseball.

Stricklin was whining about NIL
Godwin would bring the PED's to Athens

I wouldn't rule out O'Sullivan, he flirted with LSU

My best guess is that previous administrations have simply taken the local talent for granted, assumed that kids would come either way so why invest more than necessary.

Paradigm in the whole AD shifted with Kirby. Donors ponied up for whatever Kirby needed to win and they haven’t stopped donating. Josh Brooks came in 2 years ago and it was just announced that we’ve set another fundraising record with $97.7 mill raised during FY23. Hoping that means we’re about to finally start investing across the board.

Probably a bidding war between UGA and Bama for Godwin, if Bama decides to not stay in house and remove the interim tag.

I think Godwin ends up at Ole Miss ultimately

Him or McDonell. Neither will come if Bianco is fired however. MAYBE Godwin, but more than likely Bianco will have to retire to get either of them due to the “mentor” situation.

This looks like more patch work at Foley.

It’s a massive renovation and really good IMO. Bringing in the offices from Steg to a new field house that has indoor cages, a laboratory and so much nice addition to the left field line…Also new lighting and I believe upgrade to scoreboard.

Not sure what you would want….maybe some addition to right field, as Tyler emphasized, but ultimately this is a huge step in the right direction to a beautiful plot of land for the field

Will be interesting to see what Bama does
He's got Bama playing well and if they have nice run you have to at least consider him unless you want to cut all ties with that staff

McDonnell wants out of Louisville but his teams aren't exactly setting the world on fire recently, they won't make tourney this year
