UGA fans: I know it's just a spring game, but how are yall feeling about Fromm?

Looks much better than Eason, but his line has played the best imo. He has really good touch on his throws. Your thoughts?

He has the better touch and it's not close. Holloman is also impressing a lot more than any of the wideouts we saw last year or are on the first team now.
Even if a guy struggles with anticipating throws and throwing guys open, you just "know" with guys and guys like Michael Chigbu and Jayson Stanley don't have it. Wims/Ridley's younger brother do and hopefully they get a lot more time.

Watching Eason today I am sure they are relieved to know they have a guy who may be better on the roster.
ETA: I would be more worried about the OLine if I'm an UGA fan.

I have always said that Fromm is a better QB than Eason. He's going to be a star.

I am worried about the entire offense, tbh.
The only sure thing that I'm not concerned with is the RB position. Assuming that they're able to stay healthy of course.

Yeah, your RB group is stout.

Beyond that, it's a lot of uncertainty.
I guess I feel alright about the TEs (particularly Nauta), but I'm not convinced Chaney will utilize them enough.

The studs aren't running much but even with the guy that is doing better at passing in Fromm, the running backs aren't doing a whole lot and Holyfield/Herrien are good enough and this being an exhibition game that they should be showing out.
The big difference supposedly is the RBs are going to get thrown to a lot more in the fall and we're going to see a lot more RPOs used.

How was the time management in the two minute drills?

I have also. Never been a big fan of Eason. He's got a rocket arm but that's about it

Impossible to know from a scrimmage, but offensive line and Eason will be our undoing if they haven't improved. Defense will be very good.

I saw this narrative a mile away. Playing against this second team means that there are walkons filling spots on this defense.
There really isn't much difference between playing against air and playing against walk ons.
I'm glad Fromm is on our team. But if he is getting significant minutes against the SEC this year, we suck.

Well that's a stretch. Fromm was completing balls against 3rd and 4th team guys, some of which I've never even heard their name before. You're gonna look good when your receivers are 5 yards open all the time.
To the OP, Fromm did look pretty nice for his experience, but you can't take ANYTHING away from a spring game. If that was the case Ronnie Powell would've been a 3 time Heisman winner at UGA. This is a PRACTICE viewable by the public, Fromm hasn't sniffed anything resembling an actual competition while at UGA, so for that reason you can't make any comparisons with him and eason. All you can do at this stage is just say the guy looks good.

I don't know how much you've watched Eason in his college career, but he threw some passes last season as a true freshman that not many seniors could have thrown. And that was with a very thin receiving corps. If Cheney is any kind of QB developer, which he has historically been, we should see much better consistency from Eason this season. He wasn't rated the #1 QB prospect in the country for nothing. Fromm looks like a very talented young QB, but he won't start over Eason any time soon, barring injury.

The completion to Lance Austin was my favorite.

Well, they're very good. But more fragile than stout, it seems sometimes.

Yeah, RPOs. I like it. Eason will have option to do either of the two things he cannot do.

Eason can hand off to the RB, right?
