And that backup in 2019 won 2 national championships over the next 3 seasons.

You aren't making any case for the shambles of the WR room at Bama on the #1 most talented team in the country.

I'm glad you're happy with your WR's.

We're happy you have the WR's you have as well. It makes it an easier offense to defend.

One that we turned in to the MVP in every CFP game and championship game he played in.

How did the Alabama receivers progress?

You can't have it both ways. Either:

1) the talent wasn't there
2) The talent was there but not developed properly
3) If it was there and not developed properly whose fault was it?
4) If it wasn't there then who misjudged the talent? because they were 4* and 5* receivers.
Holden 4*
Baker 4*
Hellams 4*
Jones-Bell 4*
Brooks 5*
Hall 4*
Earle 4*

Do you have the back bone to admit the UGA QB room was a mess in 2020 ?

I already admitted the WR room was shite in 2021

That is a coaching problem....no?
It apparently cost you the Texas game and possibly a playoff berth.

His 3 ints vs The King of CFB in 2020 was one of the main reason why UGA lost the game

Brooks is the only one still with the program. Lots of bad evals

Shambles is strong.

Changing offensive coordinators and offensive schemes during a pandemic created shambles for every team in our position.

Oh wait... you just think Bama was that good in 2020? The fact that you retained both coordinators and had a 4th year QB during a pandemic was no manufactured benefit when coaches and players could only zoom with one another?

Why would UGA thank themselves, JackNola?

Sure. We had our projected starter (Jamie Newman) quit in fall camp due to covid fears. The other transfer was injured until late in the season (JT Daniels). Our #3 tried but wasn't very good (Dwan Mathis). So we played a chunk of the season with our 4th stringer (Stetson Bennett).

The plus was those snaps set Bennett up for back to back national championship runs.

I knew he'd be good, but his transfer was a mistake. He'd be a Two Time Champion and in the NFL right now had he stayed.

Either way, I'm not unhappy with his departure. Most Georgia fans have found results without him to be just slightly better than acceptable.

27-0 is slightly better than acceptable.

There is also something to be said for team culture.

We are repping backups at every position on the offensive line except center right now.
If an ego can't handle doing what is best for a team that wins national championships, then maybe he should be at Alabama. A team that used to win national championships.

Another strange take since UGA only has ONE WR ranked in the top 20 in the SEC in receiving yards and Bammer has 2

Yet we average 310 passing yards a game to your 230.

We also average 185 rushing to your 177.

We spread the ball around:
You have 2 players with 20 or more catches.

We have 7 players with 20 or more catches.

You have 3 players with over 300 yards receiving, we have 5.

Ok. We've all been going back and forth a bit. A little bit of trolling, joking, serious conversation, etc.

In all seriousness, if it WAS a coaching problem, who gets the blame for it?

I just chalked that up to the coaches not being fully bought in to Milroe, because Milroe had not shown them enough in practice, so something along those lines. Maybe they thought Simpson would be ready and he just wasn't.

Any way you slice it, I think it will be a good, close, hard fought game Saturday, as it should be. I hope both teams come out relatively injury free.

I thought Burton would have been our #1 WR last year if he had stayed.

He tracks a ball in the air as good or better than any WR in the country (just my opinion).

We can certainly win without him but, all things considered, I'd rather have him than play against him.

Ouch. I mean, some has to fall on the shoulders of the players. The pitfall of being ranked high is you think you will outshine everybody and might not work as hard. It happens, but that is an awful lot of misses.
