Good point. Along with:
Jim Plumkett
Jim McMahon
Mark Rypien
Joe Theisman
Brad Johnson
Joe Flacco
I mean some were pretty good college QBs but most were average at best pro QBs.
I get the point of this, but Flacco does not belong on that list. He played out of his mind in the entire 2012 playoff run. Arguably the best single playoff run for a QB of all time.

That does not make him a great QB. I mean, he was mediocre at best over a career and got a huge contract for one good year.
He wasn't awful, but if you were to choose a QB to take you to a super bowl and win he would not typically be on the list.
Just my opinion.

While a couple of these offenses are pretty good many of them are quite bad, UGA's defense notwithstanding.
How does 1/3 of our opponents playing in the bottom 1/3 of offenses in the country make our defense worse?
I never understand this argument.
If our defense is overrated, who is #2 that should be rated #1 ahead of us.
These are pathetic arguments to make pathetic people feel like they have anything more than a pathetic take on a situation that they pathetically know little to nothing about.

You could say this about almost every team though. And AU, UK, and Ark all have pretty good O’s but our game is skewing it. We’re playing the #9 offense tomorrow and if we do what we’ve done all year people will just say they weren’t any good.

Is this a joke? This UGA team is a freaking monster playing with a shiteload of backups. If I was Kirby I would honestly be skeptical about putting the starters back in just because it could mess up the chemistry. Bennett can absolutely be their QB 1 and get it based on how they're playing this year

Yup
They wont be #9 after tomorrow.
Can we all agree on that?

This is what is happening.

You can get a big hell yeah from me.

Don't be so sure on that. We already saw how easy it is to throw for almost 500 yards on Georgia's defense last season.

I guess my point was that Flacco wasn't just along for the ride in 2012. He was the biggest reason they won the Super Bowl.
Anyways, Bennett has improved drastically since last year. Having a full spring and fall to learn Monken's offense has done wonders for him.

Trask plays for Bucs, Pitts plays for the Falcons, and Toney plays for the Giants.
Meanwhile, you actually get to see Jordan Davis this season, and we probably have 5 defenders who are just as fast as Richardson.

Plenty of average QBs have won titles with great defenses and UGA has the best defense in the last 5 years. They still have talent around him on offense and there isn’t another juggernaut team this year. That said they will still probably choke it because they’re Georgia.

I will give you a couple of names that might have some nice numbers against you tomorrow if Richardson is in at QB mostly - Copeland and Shorter.

He had a great year, actually. He just wasn't a very good QB, IN MY OPINION. He parlayed that year into a lot of moolah, and good for him for doing that.
I just typically don't think of Flacco as a really good QB when I think of really good QBs. I mean, he obviously is really good....you have to be to play in the NFL.

Biggest difference I see is his TD to INT ratio. He is protecting the ball so much better.
And...if you want we can remove Flacco from my list.

Possible.
Hey, it's all fun and games. The thing I hate about this is if we win some knucklehead will be in here to rub it in to you guys. If y'all win some knucklehead will be in here to rub it in to us.
I just prefer to come in and say "Good game." and move on.
I hope it's an injury free game.

I will be here to take my medicine if Richardson does play a lot and Georgia keeps us from scoring in the 20s.

Most years I would agree with you. This year, every single other major program is down and UGA can easily win it with Stetson.

We did?
UGA was missing both safeties and our unicorn NT.
And our offense was a 3 and out machine after Stetsons AC Joint sprain.

I think they can win with with him. The defense is driving uga not the offense. UAT won with Mcelroy and AJ and neither were amazing QB's but they made very few mistakes.

UGA can win with stetson.
But he has to stay healthy. That is a big ask for a 180 pound QB who has to carry those big balls around.
