Is he on the Clinton list? My Whitewater contact hasn't reached out. Or... unless... you.. I mean.... um... nevermind.

I don't believe these actually exist. And I believe in Bigfoot.

There are still a good amount of older ones, 50+ years old. But they aren't being replaced by younger fans as the older ones die off, and that athletic program is thusly dying, slowly and pitifully. I kinda hate to see it. But more than that, I kinda love to see it.

I think they are practically extinct. But there are rumored to be 38 still
in existence. They are believed to be populating the GT Swarm board where they scream “ to hell with Georgia” nonstop and bitch about the unfairness of life.

Dove field is easier. You don't have to frick with all the decoys and blinds and boats and all that shite. You just wait for him to set his gun down, pick up the binoculars, and start glassing the field.

A lot of good advice here, so I've bookmarked this. Thanks, maybe I'll see you there

I ended up with some tickets for Saturday too.

Pro-tip:

Big City Bread Cafe on the edge of downtown in the residential district opens at 8am and sells alcohol. Free street parking. Decent breakfast fare. Walk to downtown around 10:30 and grab another beer or two at Walker's by the Arch on College and Broad, then walk through North Campus to the stadium for the noon kick. Open containers in cups are not legal but also not enforced unless you are making a jackass of yourself. Additionally this year Athens decriminalized Marijauna so if you want to smoke a joint as you walk around, it is only a $35 fine as long as you aren't on campus. In campus state law kicks in, and weed is the devil. Keep your public weed smoking downtown.

All I can say is it’s a great town! If you enjoy drinking the bars are a ton of fun. I remember good food as well but no restaurants specifically. I haven’t been in years

Truth across the board.
Being a noon kick, won’t be a ton of tailgating going on. Pro move as a first timer is to park downtown, guzzle several drinks (bars usually open early for nooners) and then check out North Campus as you head towards Sanford. Leave the bar no later than 11:15 if you don’t want to miss kickoff, it’s roughly a mile or so walk and getting inside/to your seats can be a clusterfrick.

Having resided in the area for the bulk of my life, your statement has absolutely no merit whatsoever. Yes, the downtown area is nice... somewhat, but the rest of the city (and the county at-large) is, at best, average.

P.S. As for the OP's question, go downtown... have fun, visit North Campus, tailgate... the usual, etc.

Aubie was disappointed in our beautiful Athens? Since we don’t throw toilet tissue into trees in front of our drug stores I guess that’s understandable.

Don’t wear anything similar to Auburn or Tennessee colors if you don’t want to be spit on or have piss balloons thrown at you. Apparently we also bark at small children and elderly people. We also club any baby seals you may have with you.

If you park at the intramural fields or one of the university lots, they start towing cars 4 hours after the game.
more like 3 hours and 40 minutes after the game. Tow trucks are staged waiting right beside the fields.

I'm expecting some barks, we also "Tiger Bait" people. But if you're just here to experience everything, it's all good. I have a Georgia license plate, so I'm not worried about my car getting damaged or anything
