I actually think the "almost" loss to UT came in 2015 but the point still stands, yes it is an SEC team, but no it's going to be a team that's better than 2016 Auburn and mostly healthy.

People unfamiliar with Mike Stoops should research how he fares against power, non-spread offenses. It's exceptionally well.
Stoops will get lit up by the spread, but he excels against non-spread teams.
I see this game being close in the first half, then OU pulling away late in the 3rd quarter. Georgia hasn't faced an offense like OU's.

Georgia uses a lot of spread concepts...its much more of a pro style spread then just a pro style offense.

If OU had Bradford, White, or Jones, I would be sweating hard core. But Mayfield is in a league above those three, he's the best QB we've ever had at OU. The dude is a baller.

Then on defense rush only 3 and drop 8.
For some reason though SEC coaches refuse to do this.
OU will put too much pressure on your LBs. Sorry, i dont care how good they are. We have RBs that catch the ball 15 yards down the field....same for our H-back, then a TE that is bigger and faster than any LB you have. There's just too much space to cover for LBs.
Run the ball and keep OU on the sideline and drop everyone back in coverage.
That's how UGA can beat OU.

Georgia will win by at least 17 points. The Big?? doesn’t play defense and they will be completely lost going against the SEC.
