Why would Georgia not consider someone a rival. You think you’re special because you played Bama close 2 times. GTFO, a loss is a loss chump. And Fck Kirby, that bowl-cut wearin’ Queer

I lived in lower Bammer for 2 years (2004-06) due to Uncle Sam.

The vibe I got was Alabama-Auburn have a big brother, little brother relationship, with no real hate for each other, its more of just family bragging rights.

You can't talk shite to each other every day. frick Auburn the most. But they've kinda accepted what happening under Saban. And they've been more successful most SEC schools. It's kinda like taking politics with the other side of the family during Thanksgiving.

I just moved back to the South today (Jacksonville) for the first time in 15 years, so I'm genuinely curious when I ask this question to Auburn fans. This is not a troll. When and why did Auburn fans start to hate UGA more than Alabama?

Meh, we just laugh at them. For some reason they actually believe they have become "elite" without accomplishing a damn thing.

I am beginning to despise them though.

Congrats man

I think you'll enjoy the weather today much more than Ohio

Braves season can't get here quick enough after the disasters known as Auburn and Falcon football.

There is not a specific time or reason, but many point to 2007, Soulja Boy Black Jersey game. Then when Auburn won the National Championship with Nick Farley and to a lesser degree Cam, it went through the roof.

Visits to Athens used to be great, but the fan interaction got worse and worse after 2007.

We understand Bama’s arrogance, but UGA? All they have is a good run against Auburn. It is what defines them, all they can hang their hat on.

I think every Auburn family has at least one Bama fan and every Bama family has at least one Auburn fan.

The safe guess would be they all beat Auburn the last time they played them.

Because they can’t have 2 teams consistently kicking their arse.

That means they can’t win the West and SEC overall with UGA playing at the levels they have for last two years.

Auburn knows that Natty’s aren’t in the cards for them now. 0%

Plus, they are the poors of East Cobb

Okay. You seem to want an honest discussion.

In all honesty, what explains Auburn's arrogance?
In almost every single measurable Georgia has done more in football than Auburn. The only thing Auburn has is a more recent Title, and that only got them to the same number of titles as Georgia.

And, I think for Georgia it began the year Auburn turned the hoses on Georgia fans standing in the stands. Most understood them turning the hoses on the idiots on the field. Auburn asked several times not to go onto the field, so they were warned. but when they turned them on to the fans standing and talking in the stands, that was bad.
