It was built in 1953, only thing that was added was the lobby area in front, it’s not that bad

Thanks for the cemetery pics Tyler. For years I lived in the neighborhood on the other side of it, and walked to class every day through it. It really is beautiful, as far as cemeteries go.

Old cemeteries are awesome because all the headstones are crazy, different, and original. Now days they are all cookie cutter.

Sorry, not sorry, but that is one ugly arse disjointed building.

Georgia's campus is one of those campuses where if you don't go to north campus you will come away with a "meh" attitude about the place. If you go to north campus you will be pretty blown away. It's really beautiful. Throw in downtown and it's an awesome atmosphere.

Happy to oblige. Attended many a tailgate over the years in that space, always had a fondness for it

It’s not a completely uniform campus, no.
North Campus is old and classic.

The area around Sanford Stadium is a mix of classic Georgian, 60s trash, and 80s trash. It’s gotten better as things have been built up and replaced over time but still needs some aesthetic updates (old Tate/Bookstore in particular).

The area South of Sanford has really nice areas (Myers Quad, Brooks Mall) mixed with some old, ugly buildings (primarily Ag Hill and Boyd Hall). The athletic area around Foley field, Stegeman, the IPF, etc is all pretty nice and book ends North Campus and downtown with the 5 Points neighborhood and bars/restaurants

Then there’s East Campus which is mostly apartment style dorms (athletes), campus health center, and Ramsey (gym, swim and dive complex) plus some frats off River Rd. Nothing bad to look at but not much to write home about either

The thing I disliked about UGA's campus is how 'long' it is while also being huge. I know it's a stupid reason but it's harder to navigate than UA, Auburn and LSU for sure.

Has an explanation been given yet for why there are two locations?

Because the morons put the game on at noon.
