Who is better?
I thought UF's was better, but people on the Texas board laughed at me when I told them that.
What is the general concensus on here?

Haden, Jenkins, Black, Hill, Wright
Florida hands down.

I think our secondary is better than both fyi. Arenas, Jackson, Johnson, Barron, and Woodall are as good as anyone.

IMO Texas' secondary is probably better in run support than UF's if anything.

That's the way Muschamp prefers it, his secondary is run defense support blitzing and can tackle like a mofo but can't make a play on a ball to save their life.

Texas leads the NCAA in interceptions dude. Earl Thomas is a ballhawk.

Maybe they will put Thomas on Julio-we don't throw to him anyway, even if he is running across the middle wide open.

After watching the A & M game, I can't imagine that UT can be better than UF on defense at any position.

Don't get mad about it. There's a reason he's not throwin at him even when he's open. JJ has the dropsies this year. Although, he's done much better recently.
I think it's cuz GMac makes it too easy for him. Last year when JPW threw it 5 feet over his head, he would catch it. GMac throws it right into his hands. He obviously likes to work for his receptions.

I for one always find it very hard to judge a secondary. If you can't get pressure on the QB at the DL then most DBs and Safeties will look average at best.

I also have no idea why that posted twice. Sorry.

I would say that UF's secondary is better than UT's, but Thomas is a great player for them.
to me it seems like texas always has these great secondaries, yet their pass defense is usually suspect.

You could edit the second post to say, "double post", instead of making a new post to talk about how you double posted.

I agree, they were arm tackling really bad, and if they do that to us, its going to be a long day for them.

I know...one game says it all. Bama's secondary maybe Chris-fricking-Todd look decent for a little bit too.
Besides, Jerrod Johnson is legit for the Aggies.
