It's not that. It's the fact that all of your harder non conference games are always in-state.

Schultz....let me teacdh you a few things about Economics # 101. UF plays a neutral site game with UGA EVERY year. We also rotate home n home with the girls school every year. No top elite program will play us unless its home n home, so figure 3 games (UGA, girls school & OOC) off the grid...leaving us with 7 SEC games and in every other year we only get three of those SEC games at home ...following so far? We have a large battleship that requires lot of $$ so we can support our many other sports at UF.

Its just not feasible...we really want to schedule 7 home games if we could to bring $$ into our coffers. But it will make you happy to know that we have Michigan scheduled for Arlington, Tx in 2017 along with other heavyweights. Its about income thats all.

UF plays two games outside of the state of Florida. What a joke.

Back in the '60s and '70s Kentucky and Florida played each year on the 2nd week of November.
3rd week and/or 3rd game is supposed to be UT. The last 2 years have been strange, but when else have we ever played UK the 3rd week?

Some fans won't be happy until UF schedules the Patriots, Packers and Steelers for our OOC foes.

I don't think anyone except UF fans care that much about UF.

No. We played them in 2013. Shooting for our 10th straight W against them.

Of course your schedule is weird. Yours, SC,Georgia, Kentucky, etc. All that wait and play an OOC rival game the last week of the season really screws up a lot.
Instead of the East coming down to the wire, so many of you are done with the SEC by mid Nov.
If I were commissioner, I'd force all of you to change your rival game to an earlier date.

Four of Ole Miss' first 5 games are Florida State, Alabama, Georgia and Memphis. And morons on here say Ole Miss doesn't schedule tough opponents

I haven't really heard people making a big deal about OM's scheduling -- I mean, y'all have played teams like Texas, BYU, and Boise in recent years -- but I'm not sure you can trumpet 3 of those 4. UGA and Bama are mandated by the SEC, and I seriously doubt Memphis was scheduled as a "tough" opponent (even your 3-9 team beat them a few years back. FSU is the one you can trumpet since most SEC schools schedule one tough OOC a year, just like you did.

UF is my early favorite for 2016 12-0 regular season.

Nice schedule!

yeah because it's so difficult playing all those sec east teams every year

Having LSU as a permanent opponent is pretty difficult, and we drew Alabama a few times in the last decade as well. Playing both of those teams, on top of FSU every year can be quite difficult.

Forgive us for not scheduling powerhouses like Syracuse, we'll stick with FSU.

Name a school where any of us care about another university 'that much'. Other than insecure LSU fans bleating about Alabama all over this site.

Who do u think our rotating west opponent is in 17? We play arky in 16, just played ole miss, and play lsu every year.

Imagine our 17 schedule: LSU, Georgia, Michigan, TN, FSU, and either auburn, bama, MS State, or A&m.

With that schedule looming in 17 I think we deserve a break in 16
