UF Women's Lacrosse wins ALC tournament today.

Beat OSU yesterday and #1 Northwestern today 14-7. Probably going to be the #1 team in the NCAA tournament or whatever it's called. This is just their third year.

I can appreciate anyone who posts info on lacrosse.

Well, if I'm being honest, it was due to recognizing our lacrosse team AND taking the opportunity to poke the piggies in the ribs re: OSU.
The Lacrosse Stadium is beautiful while our baseball stadium needs work.

A little known Bella fact is that I played on my school's lacrosse team my freshman year of high school. I wanted to try something new. I even went to Orlando for the spring break mini camp.

When you consider that most of the good programs are in miserable climates, it is no wonder that UF was able to in and pull the top players out of talent rick Baltimore and build a title contender so quickly.
Vandy is the only other SEC team to field a NCAA team. They are top 20. Some of the other SEC schools like Auburn, Scar, and TN have tossed around the idea of forming one. It would only take 3-5 years if they followed the UF model and the SEC would be dominating like other sports.

Pretty remarkable what they have done. UF won a soccer title in its 4th year in existence, lacrosse may beat them by a year.
