Not really. LSU beat the crap out of Oregon in the 2011 opener when he was coaching the Ducks. Curious to see if he lasts longer than five years.

LSU had one of the best teams in NCAA history. Far superior athletes. Kelly will have much better talent at UF

Vs a freshman QB who had massive fumble issues.
Also. Pretty sure you had a better coach then. He was also at a lesser school than UF talent wise....either way. We will make sure to only hang 40 each time on LSU. Want you to keep Ed after all.

Be prepared to have undersized soft D and an Offense that wont be able to run in the RZ and get its shite pushed in inside the 10.

48-7 at Oregon. Seems like his 30th ranked recruiting class average had enough defense to do fine there.

Canada is a very good caller. Chip is considered to be one of the best offensive minds in football though..so kind of a far stretch. Oregon when adding Chip instantly became a juggernaut offensively. The guys coming from his system all produced powerful offenses as well.

It’s worth noting, that while similar offenses with similar points of emphasis, the Urban meyer UF teams utilized power runs much more than Kelly does. Kelly’s offense is predicated off of inside Zone so itll be interesting to see how the current UF personnel adapt and whether it will work consistently against the stout front 7s that many SEC opponents will be able to put on the field.

Have thought this would happen since the job came open. I've seen Stricklin make the sudden move to let go of a coach before and history says he has the next guy lined up. Not hugely difficult to connect the dots, you don't let go of a guy who has won 2 division titles in the last 3 years unless you have a big card in your hand.
