Winning your division is an accomplishment so I’m not against it being recognized but I also do not think it is a big enough accomplishment for banners and flags.

Eh. I mean it is just our opinion. I just mean it doesn't bother me if a team wants to hang one. I never really understood why people started a thread about Auburn putting the sign up on their campus.

If anything proves his point it’s this year’s championship game. Maybe one day the SEC will sneak a team in there. Maybe.

I agree, winning an SEC title is very difficult, and winning Ann SEC division is also very tough. There have been plenty of SECCGs that we’re honestly a more challenging game the the NCG.

Nothing wrong with winning your division. A couple recent Bama national championship teams can’t hang SEC West banners

They were only up there for a very short period of time. It was something Mac wanted and pretty much no one else agreed with, not surprising that as soon he left they came back down.

This. A lot of fans were pretty upset about it. That isn't an accomplishment worthy of being on the walls. That is for championships.
