In an interview on Knoxville's sports animal, Gainesville writer Frank Frangie said John Failphrey would be the most likely replacement for Donovan if he leaves. In his words, "I think John is the best choice and would be named the head coach immediately." Go for it Gators - he's a winner!

Frangie is a Nole on Jax sports radio. Not as connected as he pretends to be, but I don't think he's too far off. I'd expect Foley to promote Pelphrey or Grant.

Frangie is not a Nole. He went to UF and bleeds orange and blue.
However, he was connected during the Zook years but now, he's knows just as much as you or I and I believe he's wrong about Pel.
The only way Pel get the HC title will be if it has interim before it. It's bad timing to get a college head coach since most the transitions have already been made. I can see giving Pel or AG the interim HC title but the other will leave if that happens IMO.

Hope he kills it in the NBA. tGOAT at UF. I will cry if we hire Pelphrey or Grant, though. Archie Miller should get the call, but I don't know if he'll come. Hopefull, he sees what his brother has done at Zona and decides to comes on down.
