Until they change the ball or the bat pitching teams like UCLA will have the advantage

If this was the blatt we would probably see either LSU or NCstate go 2-0 and not MSU and probably UCLA

You should be able to crush the ball and you hit into a warning track out.

Oh it would, with it there'd atleast be 4-5 more out.

But we just got to deal with it whileit lasts.

There is no way UCLA could win like this in the blatt with the old bats.

Dude LSU isn't the only team that has had warning track outs.

I feel like it takes away from hitters who deserve the home run. The pitcher can leave it over the plate and not get punished is somewhat unfair, but everyone plays the same game.

Ibarra would have had two homer's against UCLA, we would have advanced to the winners bracket. But we deserve to go home, we shoot ourselves in the foot by commitingg stupid errors and not hitting the ball with RISP

He won the stopper award

Big win to stay in the winners bracket. Now we can set up our rotation the way we want to

Why do they need to change the ball or bats ?

You guys had the better pitcher but made too many errors against UCLA.

The balls and bats are perfect everywhere except Omaha so why change everything for one
place ?

Bring in the fence in Omaha 20 feet , problem solved.

Yep the seam on the college ball is higher than mlb. This is allowing pitchers to throw more junk and not worry about hitters getting around on it as much. Since their breaking ball rarely falls.

Watching pitchers' leave balls so high in the zone and not pay for it is infuriating. That's not baseball. UCLA is the worst team in the tourney, and have been saved by that ballpark twice now.

Uhh. We have been robbed of two HR's and a grand slam! We just haven't lost YET so we aren't complaining yet. Let us derp one up and see how much we scream

It's a minor league stadium that is used for the college world series. I suppose they could use those temporary orange barriers that city parks put up on longer fields when they are hosting a buddy ball tournament to bring the fence it. That would be special. It's a brand new stadium. They are not going to bring the fences in.

HRs and gappers would increase for every team. LSU's errors and general lack of consistent solid contact would still land you in the same position.
