I was on a college staff in the early 70's....One of our big freshman recruits showed up the day all freshman had to report on a Greyhound bus and his clothes in 2 paper bags....Within 10 days he was riding around campus in a very nice vehicle.....We knew to not ask any questions. shite goes on and anybody that doesn't believe it is just dumb.

Again, never said they were expensive cars so don’t know what that is even brought up for? a simple oh they all just happen to like dodge cars and that’s what they want to drive and the university doesn’t sponsor their cars would suffice but everyone has to be quick and jump on the defensive....I just don’t understand why so defensive it’s just a curiosity question to see if my kids can get comped cars if that is actually a thing.

you posted like 5 chargers over the course of a decade. we have 85 players on scholarship every year. why do you keep saying they all have chargers?
come walk through the parking lot some time, you’ll see a lot more than chargers.

Until the 2000s it was exactly like you describe. Sure there is cheating that still goes on but it is nowhere near the wild wild west like 20+ years ago.

Yeah, if their fan base is as crazy as the idiots over there then it might not be good for some bama fans at that game. When bama drums them, it will probably good ugly, which is sad.

It was my grandmother. I thought having cool shite meant something. I couldn't give a shite now, not insecure anymore.
I'm just saying that any family member could have signed for any Charger. They aren't driving high end luxury cars.

So why do we give these kids pell grants if they all just buying cars with it? What is purpose of the grant if all the essentials are already paid for?

If you were honestly asking if tuition included a vehicle for your child then it's unlikely you'll have to worry about sending any of your kids to college.

Who brought up their race at all?
I didn't make any judgement on any particular players, but since you went down that road...
Isn't it racist to automatically assume that Black athletes driving new cars means cheating? Isn't it racist to assume they couldn't have got a new car any other way?
I'm not pretending that cheating isn't still going on, nor do I believe it will ever go away.
I am suggesting though that many of these kids are in fact getting these cars on the taxpayers dime through pell grants.
