But but you're dickriding Tulane dumbass. Sorry if I hurt your feelings.

UGA has the 2nd most conference titles behind Bama.

Trust me when I say that we are not dickriding Tulane for conference championships.

But count the national championship references from Gamecock fans and remember what dickriding is.

GaTech is the reigning college football national champions in the state of Georgia.

Ga Tech used to be a powerhouse in the SEC. They beat UGA quite often. UF used to play Tech, UGA, AU almost every year. Tulane was an academic institution and faltered in the 1960s...UF beat them pretty bad back when Spurrier was QB. Even though Tech and Tulane dropped out of the SEC in the mid 1960s, we had already scheduled them years in advance and W/Ls counted as SEC games for a while. It wasn't like today where teams shuffle the deck in scheduling..it was done years in advance and teams stuck to the commitments.

It was .500 football with UGA in the lead most years until 1964. We broke Tech that year and they have only had 14 wins against the Dawgs since (14 wins in 53 tries).

you hedgehounds are hilarious. why couldn't mighty Georgia keep Tulane from winning the SEC in 1934? dwags got their arse cut by the Green Wave.

South Carolina never had the chance to play Tulane in 1934 - or '39 & '49 for that matter. Georgia clearly wasn't enough of a program pre-integration to keep Tulane from winning the SEC - that's for sure.

eta - Tulane posted a combined 18-1 SEC record in their 3 titles seasons. Green Wave only played 4 conference games away from New Orleans in those 19 games. those white boys never left home.
