sad thing is...they barely did. One FG separated the amount of points Notre Dame scored today and Texas A&M at home in a playoff....

You said 0 facts because you tried to claim this:

Meanwhile, it was 2 teams Notre Dame couldn't beat and the 2 toughest teams on your schedule.

Yep, and its as embarrassing as Texas losing to Florida and Alabama losing to Florida State....thats how pathetic Texas A&M is.

Over Ole Miss yes.

But you are talking about defenses here.

Context matters. A&M was tied in the 4th with their opponent. Tulane and JMU….not so much.

Your issue is with the G5 getting two teams in.

Focus.

Yes context does matter. How was Tulane and JMU able to score more points against better teams on the road than Texas A&M was against a lesser team at home?

Texas A&M beat Notre Dame. There was never a scenario where Notre Dame would get in over a Texas A&M team with a similar or better record.

The only problem with the playoff is the potential for G5-level teams, such as Notre Dame, getting into the playoff at all.
