Wrong,
that I don’t enjoy it
And that’s an impressive memory

Oh. Interdasting. NWS has the bases jacked in the top of the eighth.

Alright LSU pitching seems to have settled down.

Just when you think so...
As far as I'm concerned, there's still a lot of baseball left in this game with only a 2 run lead

Yeah I was a little late on the update…

Ok St 7 @ OU 3 gone to a rain delay in B8 0 outs with runners on 1st and 2nd for the Sooners. Same storm that's about to hit my place in north Texas.
In other action, #12 SC is down 4-1 to Long Beach in B7.

That's 23 runs we've given up the last two games. I thought our pitching was getting better but obviously not.
Our midweek pitching has been abysmal all year (hence we hve losses to Westenr Carolina, Kennesaw State, and Troy). Sunday pitching has also been an adventure (look at our Sunday games vs Tennessee, A&M, Carolina, and Florida). We are pretty good on Friday and Saturday, just hve to out slug opponents the other two game days of each week

I'm not trying to be an ahole, sincere question - what the heck? I watch as many SEC games as I can, and the last 2 State series are difficult to fathom. State is 4th in the conference in batting average, 2nd in ERA and 2nd in fielding % (conf games only). That should add up to some wins at home, not reverse sweeps. Good luck this weekend, but SC has been a different animal since they fired Paul.
It’s largely been an offense issue. We’ve missed McPherson too, specifically thinking of Game 1 against Georgia in reference to that, but UGA and Tennessee just pounded the strike zone and threw a ton of offspeed stuff and our offense had no answer for it. We’ve largely become home run or bust on offense the last two weeks.
Pitching has been mostly ok. There’s only so much you can do when your offense is averaging 3 runs a game in the last 5 league games.

I'm not sure how far we can go with only two solid starters. Matt Scott has the potential to develop into a third option, but failing that, maybe we should just forfeit Sunday games.
